Dr. Shallyn MacDonald, Physical Therapist, started her private practice as a Pilates studio (a low impact, core exercise system) in 2012. She has been certified in and using Pilates personally since 2000 to manage spine stability issues. Using a holistic approach to her care, she added rehabilitative Qigong and Tai Chi in 2016 to help her clients improve balance, manage stress and adopt healthy long term mindsets. Dr. Shallyn eagerly brings both of these forms of exercise to Perfect Fit Wellness Center to further her vision of empowering her neighbors to live a well and active life.
