Young bodies need a different exercise focus than they do when we are grown. These workout classes are designed to build the basic principles of physical health in people whose bodies are still growing. This means that the focus is on building the core muscles, working on range of motion, maintaining flexibility, building hand-eye coordination, and improving neurological connections.
These exercise programs are taught by many different teachers and include several modes of exercise. Although they may be done without supervision they will work best when people help and encourage the youth to complete the exercises and possibly do them along with the student to improve communication and build self esteem.
